After a traumatic experience last year having a intradural spinal meningioma partially removed, I sought a second opinion from Mr Laing after experiencing concerning symptoms. I immediately felt reassured, and at ease. His detailed explanation and unhurried approach to my case was phenomenal. I am now awaiting surgery, feeling extremely confident in his expertise.

The consultation with M Laing was freindly and informative, I felt relaxed in his company and in his knowledge and experience of the operation gave me confidence to proceed with the operation.

I suffer from a rare dwarfism condition and was recommended Mr Laing via a charity called LP UK. I have suffered from Canal Stenosis for the past 5 years with my symptoms becoming extremely sever over the past 2 years. I visited 5 different consultants including one in America with Mr Laing being the 5th consultant I came across. I can not stress highly enough how fortunate I was in meeting Mr Laing as from the moment I met him I felt at ease with him. I knew he was the right person for me as not only did he come across professional, but he also explained everything so clearly and made it sound so simple. I underwent a decompression of spine, and his work was nothing more than a miracle as he made my symptoms disappear from the moment, I opened my eyes and now 4 weeks after my surgery I am back to my normal self. May I stress that before my surgery I was unable to walk more than a couple of minutes at a time but within 2 weeks after surgery I was on the treadmill doing 30 minutes incline. I must also add that he worked with one of the nicest Anaesthetists, Dr Silvia Karcheva, as not only was she professional but was so caring and showed so much compassion towards me. I am so thankful that I found Mr Laing as he has changed my life and would highly recommend him.

Mr Laing was clearly very well qualified and very experienced. We discussed my impending spinal decompression surgery and went through the procedures and the CT scan in great detail. The whole process was very reassuring and just right in many other ways. Have no hesitation in recommending him fully.

I recently had decompression surgery performed by Rodney Laing as I had been suffering from lower back pain for a number of years. Mr Laing was extremely professional throughout and put me at ease by reducing my anxiety about the surgery. I am now pain free less than three weeks from surgery, I cannot recommend Mr Laing enough and I am so grateful for his skill and expertise and he is quite simply a wonderful man
